PREP/LINE COOK (day shift: 10:30 - 3:30, night shift 5:00 - 10:00)


​​Job duties and responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Preparing all assigned menu items following recipes and yield guides to ensure that proper health and safety procedures are followed during all food preparation and storage.
  • Cooking menu items using Fryer, Pasta Boiler, Saute Burners, and Oven
  • ​Food Prep including slicing meat, vegetables, etc...
  • Maintaining consistency of quality and portioning of all food
  • Organizing and accurately maintaining and logging inventory
  • Responsible for maintenance and overall cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen (We have an open kitchen so there will a lot of cleaning)


​Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Hardworking and self motivated
  • Great knife skills
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance (may have to carry heavy items up and down a 16 step staircase)
  • Knowledge of food safety/sanitation procedures and adhering to food safety regulations
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to both follow directions and take initiative
  • Able to speak English
  • Able to read and comprehend simple instructions
  • Team player able to work well with others in all positions
  • Experience in fast placed restaurant a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of Japanese cuisine a plus


SERVER (day shift: 10:30 - 3:00)


Job duties and responsibilities include but aren't limited to:

  • Preparing tables for service 
  • Staying updated on current menu choices, specialties and menu deviations, knowing if the kitchen staff is running out of any items...etc
  • Directing customers to their tables, presenting menus, suggesting dishes, assisting in drink selection, informing customers about food preparation details, communicating specific customer needs to the cooks
  • Restocking drink and dessert refrigerator and freezer
  • Taking guests orders, process into POS, and delivering items in a timely manner
  • Fulfilling customer needs and refilling glasses
  • Bussing tables as needed
  • Performing basic cleaning task including restroom cleaning

  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to both follow directions and take initiative

  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
  • 18 years old and above to serve beer and wine
  • Experience in fast paced restaurant a plus
  • Experience and knowledge of Japanese cuisine a plus
